The Shadow Zone gathers Nageki (the power of crying) in order to erase the light of the universe and turn it into darkness. To counter this movement, Mutant, an emissary from the Comet Kingdom, seeks out the legendary warriors, the Melpure, from a parallel world. As they fight daily, Shadow Zone executives lurk nearby, intent on destroying the Melpure from within. These include Aria's beloved, Dr. Sato (Upsilon), and the fourth Melpure, Shalala. With more allies, things seem to be going well, but finally, the executives begin to move to destroy the Melpure.
